Directed by Mike Nichols, written by Jim Harrison and Wesley Strick, and produced by Douglas Wick for Columbia Pictures.

although im diehard terminator fan !, ive always liked the mechanical version over the liquid metal. That concept never gelled with me as its full of holes, with computer program/sofware/hardware morphing. just stick to a mechanical machine as thats more realistic to todays machines

It took YEARS for me to have the chance to see Friday the 13th Part 3D in 3D for a revival screening (at Chicago's excellent Music Box Theater) which ended up being everything I could've hoped for. The other 3D movie I'm patiently waiting to see in a revival screening in 3D is Jaws 3D!!!

The ideal trilogy from the franchise is H78, H281, and H20. If all we got were those three, I'd be totally fine with it. Especially with how terrible Ends was.

Now think Arnold became a mega star , but he wasn't the first pick for The Terminator if true OJ but another movie Total Recall again the director wanted Patrick Swayze but new director picked Arnold it worked out but think if both movies went with somebody else would it have the same result worst better , But I think fate played a part

Even though I think that Murnau's NOSFERATU is by far the better film I do really love Browning's DRACULA. It has the same dark atmosphere like Stoker's novel and a leading actor who not only played a part but lived the character which made his perfomance so unique. I think that DRACULA is one of the greatest films in Hollywood history.

I wished the movie was focused on Phillip Fitzroyce teying to hunt/capture the larger shark..maybe it was held and grown in seaworld, would have been a mix Quint and Jurassic Park lol do away with the bad cg. I alwaua felt the practical Fx were pretty good! Also the production and sets were good

Is it common knowledge that there’s a bootstrap problem in T1? If I’m right, to solve it, you need to postulate two John Connors. The first one is sired NOT by Kyle Reece but by Mr. X Then, the Terminator goes bk in time with Reece following . This stops Sara, up the timeline meeting Mr.X, effectively changing it. At this point the T.line is in flux untill Kyle and Sara fall in love and get intimate. At that point -same ends different means, the new time line reflects the status quo. We’re still not done because postulating G.R- a multiplicity of selves, it’s Reece 2+ that we see going bk otherwise we have another bootstrap problem. How can Reeece1 have the photo of Sara in the jeep with the Dog before he goes bk in time and makes love to her?

Appropriately, this is my third favorite shark movie, after the original Jaws and Deep Blue Sea. Jaws is set at the beach and on a boat in the open ocean, Deep Blue Sea is on a supremely freaky sinking sea station, and this one is at a theme park. The variety of settings gives each film a different atmosphere and sense of urgency.

This is a genius for me for the werewolf genre, I first saw it when I 10 and I classed it in the same league as Dog Soldiers and American werewolf in london but after watching it for the first time in 7 years There were themes in the film that exploited my life with an arched back and receding hairline already balding at the back and front and struggle with pancreas and bowel problems as well as a chronic anxiety disorder and depression, Wolf would be to me if offered I remember thinking to myself is something I'd take in a heartbeat and reclaim if only for a short while what it means to be 31 and in perfect health as well as a confident extrovert genius haha so it's a thought provoking classic rewatch it when you get older then you will love it more 💯

16:16 I thought casting Schwarzenegger made total sense because his acting to date had been highly robotic. I remember at least one critic made that same point. Or did Cameron mean that it made no sense that the terminator would be massive and have an Austrian accent?
